Unfortunately, no Nicolls Rd. idiot worthy of ridicule today... however, we still have a couple of general idiots for our viewing pleasure. For the second weekday in a row, I happened to park near someone who must've learned to park in some sort of third-world nation. Not only did they park poorly, but they also parked in the wrong lot. You need a $125-a-year permit to park in the lot where this was taken, yet every day, I see people with either standard commuter permits ($5 a year, maybe $10, I don't recall) or faculty/staff permits parked in this lot. I was pleased to see that this person got a ticket for being parked there, but apparently the majority of people who park there unlawfully get away with it. As one of the people who pays the aforementioned $125 a year for a legit parking permit, it annoys me that so many people who don't deserve to park there get away with doing so. Blah...

This one was taken on 347 eastbound, maybe a mile or two west of Nicolls. The person in the Sable on the right, as well as the car in front of them (I think it was either a Civic or an Accord), are guilty of waiting until the last second to get out of an ending lane. About half a mile back, there was a nice, conspicuous "Right lane ends" sign, but apparently that sign doesn't mean a damn thing to some drivers. So, instead of getting out of the lane when they have the chance, they try to force their way into traffic after their lane ends, causing the lane to come to a stop since apparently nobody knows how to merge properly. The left lane was moving fine and dandy, but the right lane (unfortunately, the one I happened to be in) came to a halt. Why can't my fellow drivers learn to be a little more considerate?
