In this day and age, increasing numbers of people are driving large vehicles which don't handle as well as their smaller counterparts. One annoying side
effect of this is the cluttering of our "high-speed" entrance ramps with people who drive on them as if they're on the verge of careening off into the woods,
even though they're far from it.
As bad as some of these cars, trucks, and SUVs do handle, most of them can still safely take entrance ramps at their posted speeds at the very least.
Honestly, one of my cars is a Dodge Caravan - possibly one of the worst-handling vehicles on Earth - and even that can take most exit ramps at more
than their posted speeds. If for example you are on a ramp with a 50mph sign, it's rated that way for a reason, so please don't slow down to far below 50mph
unless you're driving a Mack truck or something. Not only does it hold up the flow of traffic behind you, but it may also cause issues with merging when you
get to the end of the ramp.
