Ahh yes, rubbernecking, the stuff nightmares are made of. How many times have you ended up sitting in a bunch of
traffic, seemingly for no reason at all, only to find out that everyone was standing on their brakes so they could see
an accident on the other side of the road?
This topic is one that gets my blood boiling. It's one thing to have traffic backed up when there's an accident
disrupting your side of the road, or highway, or parkway, due to lane closures and police/fire/EMT presence... but it's
simply infuriating to have massive traffic backups because some blatant idiots decide they have to come to a near-stop
to look at an accident on the other side of the road. Come on people, if you are going to be nosy, at least do so
without slamming on your brakes and causing everyone behind you to do so! Wow, a car accident, none of us have EVER seen
one of those... we better make sure we slow down and get a real good look!
